Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano has gone on the 15-day DL, retroactive to his last start, according to the AP and Yahoo! Sports. The Cubs dodged a bullet after an MRI revealed only a minor right shoulder strain. Things could've been much worse for Big Z. With Zambrano only gone for 2 starts and Marquis and Lilly "getting right", it will be interesting to see if the Cubs go for broke and try to bring in a guy like C.C. Sebathia.
