Esteban Loaiza will be released today, per Scott Merkin of MLB.com. Loaiza signed with the White Sox just a few days ago, but had virtually no speed on his fastball in his 3 innings of work in a Sox uniform. Adam Russell, LRP, will be called up to take his place. Russell is currently 3-0 with a 1.74 ERA this season in Charlotte.
