Ken Rosenthal says that any team that trades for him will "gain an exclusive window to sign him long-term before he reaches free agency." That makes things very interesting, and acquiring him much more tantelizing. The Cubs are front runners to acquire him, along with the Rays and Brewers. The Rays probably have the most talent in the minors, but the Indians would probably prefer to trade him to the National League. Sabathia is sporting a sub-2.00 ERA in his last FOURTEEN starts.
